"At the point that our group became involved in structured reporting, we were experiencing explosive growth and our nuclear dictations were simply unsatisfactory. Can a physician dictate a nuclear report in less time than completing a structured report, absolutely. But when we looked at our reports prior to instituting structured reporting, data points were missing, and there was a high rate of intra- and inter-physician variability report to report. We now have 90 percent plus acceptance in Centricity Cardio Enterprise. We're finding increase in adherence to appropriate use criteria with decreased intra- and inter-physician reporting variance."
